Job Description

CHRISTUS Mother Frances Hospital Tyler is seeking a full-time CRNA to join its large, collaborative anesthesia team in Tyler, Texas. This hospital-employed opportunity offers no call responsibilities, flexible scheduling, premium pay opportunities, and an excellent benefits package in a respected Level II trauma center.

CRNAs will work across a broad surgical case mix with strong physician support, modern equipment, and mentorship available for new graduates.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care for a diverse mix of surgical and procedural cases
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and develop individualized care plans
• Administer and monitor anesthesia throughout procedures
• Manage patient recovery and post-anesthesia needs
• Participate in optional OB coverage if proficient in epidural and spinal anesthesia
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and perioperative teams
• Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC EMR

Compensation & Benefits

• Annual compensation of $250,000 to $300,000+
• New graduate starting salary from $249,600
• Sign-on incentive up to $55,000+
• Guaranteed 40-hour weekly pay
• $200 per hour for hours worked over 40 in a week
• Shift differentials for evenings, nights, and weekends
• Holiday pay at 1.5x rate

Job Requirements

• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
• Active Texas license or eligibility required
• NBCRNA certification required or in process
• Current ACLS and PALS certifications required
• New graduates welcome
• Strong teamwork and patient care skills

Schedule & Work Environment

• Full-time position with 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts available
• Additional 16 and 24-hour shifts available after onboarding
• No first call or second call responsibilities
• Level II trauma center environment
• Broad case mix including trauma, neuro, ortho, vascular, robotics, GI, pediatrics, and more
• No hearts or transplants
• 90% medical direction model
• Large anesthesia department with 23 anesthesiologists and 58 CRNAs
