Job Description
Brazos GI Anesthesia/Waco Gastro is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join a busy 3-room GI endoscopy center in Waco, Texas. This full-time 1099 position offers a highly desirable outpatient setting with no call, no weekends, and a strong emphasis on work-life balance.
CRNAs practice independently with one provider assigned per room, delivering anesthesia for GI endoscopy procedures in a streamlined and efficient environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia care for GI endoscopy procedures
- Independently administer and monitor anesthesia throughout cases
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and efficient case flow
- Maintain accurate documentation of anesthesia services
- Collaborate with endoscopy staff to support smooth daily operations
- Participate in occasional administrative or leadership duties as needed
Compensation & Benefits
- Earn up to $350,000 annually
- 1099 independent contractor position
- Paid per day structure

Job Requirements
- Active Texas CRNA license required
- Ability to work independently in a CRNA-only model
- Comfortable providing anesthesia for GI procedures
Schedule & Work Environment
- Full-time opportunity with flexible scheduling options
- Monday – Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (paid as full day)
- No first call responsibilities
- No second call responsibilities
- No nights, weekends, or holidays
- 3-room GI endoscopy center with one CRNA per room
- Independent practice with 0% medical direction
- Outpatient surgery center environment
