Job Description
Palo Pinto General Hospital is seeking an experienced, motivated Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join its independent anesthesia team in Mineral Wells, Texas. This full-time opportunity offers strong compensation, a supportive team environment, and a schedule designed to promote work-life balance.
CRNAs will practice independently in a community hospital setting, managing a variety of bread-and-butter cases with moderate workload and access to outdoor lifestyle amenities nearby.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia care across multiple service lines including general, orthopedic, and OB cases
- Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and develop care plans
- Administer and monitor anesthesia during procedures
- Perform regional anesthesia and neuraxial techniques
- Place epidurals and arterial lines as needed
- Collaborate with surgical and clinical staff in a team-oriented environment
- Participate in preoperative screening clinic duties
Compensation & Benefits
- Base compensation of $350,000
- 1099 independent contractor position
- Negotiable sign-on bonus
- Malpractice coverage provided (200/600)

Job Requirements
- Active Texas CRNA license required
- NBCRNA certification required (or in process acceptable)
- Current ACLS and PALS certifications required
- OB anesthesia experience required
- Regional anesthesia experience preferred
- New graduates not accepted
Schedule & Work Environment
- Full-time position (1099)
- Start date: March 1
- Call: Every 5th night (home call with 30-minute response time)
- No second call responsibilities
- Independent CRNA practice model
- Facility staffed with 1 anesthesiologist and 5 CRNAs
- Moderate case volume with diverse case mix
- Team-oriented, supportive work environment
