Job Description
Avana Plastic Surgery in Dallas, Texas is seeking five full-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to join its in-person surgical team. This 1099 opportunity focuses exclusively on outpatient surgical anesthesia in a plastic surgery setting.
The position involves administering anesthesia and monitoring patients throughout surgical procedures, ensuring safety, comfort, and optimal outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia for outpatient surgical procedures
- Monitor vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as needed
- Conduct pre-operative evaluations, including history and physical assessment
- Develop individualized anesthesia care plans in collaboration with surgeons
- Manage post-anesthesia recovery protocols
- Provide acute pain management post-procedure
- Maintain accurate documentation using electronic health record systems
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and facility policies

Job Requirements
- NBCRNA certification required
- Strong knowledge of anesthetic pharmacology, physiology, and airway management
- Experience with EHR systems preferred
