Job Description
South Texas Anesthesia Group is expanding its independent physician anesthesia practice and is seeking PRN Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to join its growing team in San Antonio, Texas. This 1099 opportunity offers a predictable weekday-only schedule with no call responsibilities, an 8-hour daily guarantee, and a diverse surgical case mix. The group is expanding coverage at its primary facility and is looking for motivated CRNAs interested in joining a well-established private practice.
Position Overview
- Compensation: $175 per hour with an 8-hour daily guarantee (minimum $1,400/day)
- Employment Type: PRN 1099 Independent Contractor
- Schedule: Weekdays only
- Call: No first call or second call responsibilities
- Start Date: Immediate
- Positions Available: At least 2 CRNAs
Practice Highlights
Join a growing private anesthesia group consisting of seven full-time anesthesiologists that is expanding CRNA coverage for its primary hospital and affiliated surgery center. CRNAs work within a medically directed anesthesia care model while enjoying a consistent weekday schedule and a broad variety of surgical cases.

- No cardiac, thoracic, vascular, obstetric, trauma, or chronic pain cases
- Regional anesthesia opportunities available depending on experience
Requirements
- Current Texas CRNA license required
- ACLS certification required
- PALS certification negotiable
- NBCRNA certification negotiable
- Candidates currently in the NBCRNA examination process are welcome to apply
- New graduates encouraged to apply
- No fellowship required
