Job Description
We are seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a PRN position at Medical Arts Surgery Center in Nacogdoches, Texas. This is a solo CRNA role at an eye center, providing sedation and monitoring during cataract and glaucoma procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide propofol sedation for cataract and glaucoma procedures
- Perform eye blocks (training provided if needed)
- Monitor patient safety and comfort during and after procedures
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure successful patient outcomes
Compensation & Benefits
- $1,600 per day guaranteed
- Training provided for eye blocks
- Flexible PRN schedule – work Wednesdays only
Job Requirements
- Current CRNA certification
- Active Texas RN and APRN licensure
- Experience with propofol sedation preferred
- Willingness to learn and perform eye blocks
Schedule & Work Environment
- PRN position – work Wednesdays only
- Procedures start at 8:30 AM, typically finishing by 1:30–2:00 PM
- Independent setting with support from surgical staff
