Job Description

We are seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a PRN position at Medical Arts Surgery Center in Nacogdoches, Texas. This is a solo CRNA role at an eye center, providing sedation and monitoring during cataract and glaucoma procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide propofol sedation for cataract and glaucoma procedures
  • Perform eye blocks (training provided if needed)
  • Monitor patient safety and comfort during and after procedures
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure successful patient outcomes

Compensation & Benefits

  • $1,600 per day guaranteed
  • Training provided for eye blocks
  • Flexible PRN schedule – work Wednesdays only

Job Requirements

  • Current CRNA certification
  • Active Texas RN and APRN licensure
  • Experience with propofol sedation preferred
  • Willingness to learn and perform eye blocks

Schedule & Work Environment

  • PRN position – work Wednesdays only
  • Procedures start at 8:30 AM, typically finishing by 1:30–2:00 PM
  • Independent setting with support from surgical staff
