Job Description

Matagorda Regional Medical Center in Bay City, Texas, is seeking a full-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our CRNA-only group. This autonomous position offers a highly flexible schedule with 13 weeks off per year and a light case load, providing an excellent work-life balance.

Schedule & Call

  • Schedule: 3 weeks on, 1 week off
  • Average around 25 actual hours in the hospital per week, including call days
  • 7 days of call built into the 3-week schedule with a 30-minute call back from home
  • Post-call day off most of the time (not guaranteed)

Case Load

  • General Surgery, ENT, OB, GYN, Podiatry, Scopes, Cataracts
  • Ortho cases starting this summer
  • Approximately 20-25 deliveries per month

Compensation

  • Annual Income: $300,000

Employment Status

  • 1099 Independent Contractor
